Chapter VI of the EU Data Act addresses switching between data processing services, including cloud and edge services. Its framework also covers moves to a customer’s own ICT infrastructure. Specific requirements differ by service type.
Switona focuses on technical preparation and transfer: inventory exportable data, check formats, agree transformations and document results. Contractual obligations and legal assessments remain separate work.
The Data Act is one context for portability. Switona is also designed for everyday modernization, consolidation and provider changes.
